I have a Sony Camera Recorder, it connects to the computer, but then nothing happens. The model is a DCR-DVD308 and i live in the U.S (not as if it matters). But yeah i have Vista Home Basic but it will connect to it and all but when its in i dont know how to download the videos on my computer PLEASE HELP ME I WANT TO POST STUFF!

can’t you take the dvd out of the camcorder and put it on your computer. did it come with video editing software. mine came with videostudio 9 and it has a thing for capture and that’s how i did it. you can download a free trial of videostudio 11.5 plus and www.ulead.com.

I beleive when you connect the camera to your computer, on the Camera screen will give you a selection at that time for open the flash memory.
When you do that, it will recognize the flash and you will see the video. Check you Camera book let. I am sure it will give you some guide line on it.
