DigInfo – www.diginfo.tv Sony exhibited its new high-end F35 digital cinematography camera at the Inter BEE 2008 show. As the photograph element at the heart of the camera, the new F35 features single panel CCD 1920 x 1080 dot RGB that is equivalent to Super 35mm film, and with this feature, the cameras offers a depth of field that is similar to that of film cameras. In order to ensure a compact design and the film-style operability of cinema cameras, the F35 was designed with an ergonomic structure that enables direct docking with the SRW-1 portable HDCAM-SR recorder. As a result, a design like that of a magazine that houses the cinema film was achieved. Also, in order to increase the picture quality and the depiction strength of the F35, versatile gamma settings including a hyper setting are used to achieve rich gradation expressions. The new F35 is also highly compatible with computer CG composition and also supports optical cable connections for recording.

right on, righteous little recorder, when i remember ti use it !!! i get jamming, in the groove, and always forget to record, but the ZOOM is bad ass. I also have the ZOOM RT-123(drum machine), and the ZOOM MRS-8(8 track recorder…ZOOM is great gear

I must say it’s amazing that in the days of global economy with cheapo LCD do everything laptops, we still have products such as the F23 of F35. The pro grade PCM-7040 Sony DAT machines are long gone in favor of cheap PC audio recording. I wonder how long are the large cine type cameras going to last… Sad reality…

Lol, it does have got a STRIPE SENSOR! With fully direct RGB! Like a TV lol!
So it’s not a Bayer Interpolation Sensor! Also the F35 Sensor is a real 5k Super 35mm Single Chip Stripe RGB which records downsized to 2k Full HD 1080P.
Would be really nice if it had three imagers, rather than a single with a Beyer filter.
