I’m new to this mic. Is the H4 a newer version than the H2? Will it be a great recoder for recording for an independent film? Thanks!
I hate the H4. Its very cheap in the build quality and the handling is a catastrophe.

whats the frequency response on it??
bought one odf these used about a year and a half ago. the condensers are GREAT from recording live sound- even for a heavy metal band like mine. and the 4 tracking is easy! a very smart buy.

what he said, plus you’ve got to take into account the H2 has 360 mics, whereas the H4 has directional mics. so it depends if you’re recording ambient music/sounds or from a single source
